Mankato City Council Mankato Mayor presents Proclamation of support to MAFTTI, May 10, 2010

MAFTTI made an initial presentation to Mankato City Council on June 22, 2009.

MAFTTI then took part in a Council Working Session on April 26, 2010.

This resulted in a Proclamation of support being signed on May 10 by Mayor John Brady and President At-Large Michael Laven.

MAFTTI took part in another Council Working Session on September 26, 2011, a meeting that paved the way for consideration of a Declaration at the Council Meeting on October 24.

On October 24 the Council passed a Resolution containing the Declaration unanimously!

North Mankato City Council

MAFTTI made an initial presentation to North Mankato City Council on October 19, 2009.

Five members of MAFTTI participated in a Council Workshop on September 20, 2010.

On December 20 the Council unanimously passed a Resolution of support for the Fair Trade Town vision that MAFTTI had presented.

On April 9, 2011, MAFTTI provided Fair Trade Coffee and edibles with Fair Trade ingredients at a Saturday morning "Meet the People" session with North Mankato Mayor Mark Dehen.
